From no other company but Samsung, we will be delivered in our hands this invention that has been at official development since several years back. The company will showcase it at the SID 2017 – of the Society for Information Display of the US (A tech fair).
The OLED display will be of unique presentation never seen before, the bending qualities will go both ways and with certainty that it will not break, surpassing the previous advancements that showed flexible panels that could stretch and bend in just one direction. This feature will reduce a bit the fragility issue that many people complain about in the present; also it will open new doors for the creativity around smartphone designs.
Leaders of the phone tech industry are concern with the function ability of this flexible model device also the extent of the feature beyond just being stretchable and less fragile; the investment into offering such a novelty might backfire if not handled correctly.

Stretchable screens embedded with a good structure is difficult to keep still all together, so this display requires a well-defined progress with complicated tech that does not compare to the standardized industry of regular phones; nevertheless this marks the beginning of flexible technology as category in the market. The flexibility range goes to a limit of 12 mm when is pressed on, and it pretends to keep the high quality resolution even then; the OLED display will be over nine inches, and it is aimed for a wide official release during the SID 2017, an event that it’s happening from today, May the 23th to the 25th, all in Los Angeles.
This new product is not limited to Samsung devices but it is an update planned to be adapted to all devices of the upcoming wave; also Is part of the features that will be at front of standard industrialized technology.
