Racing apps have turned into a category that, with the time, everyone learned to love. Legends like Temple Run or Subway Surfers have led us a world of “running” games that Android expands day by day. One of these wonderful racing games is Chameleon Run, a game that combines an incredible design, a very enjoyable dynamic and many exciting levels with the racing factor that everybody loves.

Chameleon Run is a very simple game… Or maybe not. Your objective as the player is to run in a universe made of color platforms, where your character must change the color of its appearance to be able to jump in the different tridimensional shapes that will appear in your way. The platforms are all different and give you the opportunity to choose the road you’ll be taking by changing the color of your character. Each level has at least three objectives to complete while playing it. A bad decision could cost you the time record and also, the objectives of the level. These features give to this game a special touch that makes it something fresh and new for all the players that are used to the typical racing game, where swipe your fingers in different directions are what makes them easy.

Chameleon run must represent a very interesting challenge when we’re talking about taking “last minute choices”, because is all about that. While running over the platforms, choosing the right color is what helps you to complete the level, and what could give you a time record, or at least a victory.

The controls are very simple; it’s played with the device in a horizontal position, and with both fingers on the touch screen. It has a very innovative jumping system that, when you learn how to control it and get used to its working way, it becomes in your best chance to win each level.

One of the most stunning things about this game is its wonderful graphics, and it’s elegant and well-developed design; its geometric style gives it a very modern touch without leaving the fun of the colors apart. Its fast paced interface works at 60 frames per second, making you feel inside the game while you’re playing, and guaranteeing the immersion and the fun since you start it. The levels are a little short, so many people would think that is easy, but it isn’t. The levels have the perfect balance between difficulty and length, so the players will not get bored or give up at the middle.

The last update of this app was released on May 26 and it brings us amazing features such as a new world with four incredible levels, new objectives to keep you playing all time long, a new option that allows the player to invert and reorganize the controls on the screen until they feel comfortable with them, better scoreboards and a faster performance of the app.
This game is definitely a masterpiece of the racing games, and if you love this genre, it has to be on your phone as soon as possible.
